The brief

The client wanted to create a brand for a highly specialized yet passionate audience: marine aquarium enthusiasts. Planqton had to stand out as professional, trustworthy, and distinct, while clearly communicating its role as both a natural solution and a premium product.

The challenge was to design more than just packaging—it had to be an identity that inspires confidence, highlights natural vitality, and positions Planqton as the go-to name in phytoplankton cultures.

Strategy

At the heart of Planqton lies a clear duality: scientific reliability and natural vitality. The strategy was to bring these two worlds together in a brand that feels fresh, precise, and trustworthy.

We created a design language that balances clean, modern aesthetics with subtle organic forms, reflecting both the purity of the product and its connection to the ocean. Every element—from colors to typography—was chosen to radiate clarity, balance, and health.

Process

The process began with exploring the visual world of marine life, coral reefs, and scientific culture. From there, I developed a logo and identity system that feels professional yet approachable, with a visual rhythm inspired by natural patterns.

Packaging was designed to be practical, informative, and visually engaging, while online and print applications extended the brand into a cohesive, recognizable system. The goal was always consistency: a brand that speaks the same clear language across every medium.

Results
